one of these ancient gas stations as one finds them at all ancient trades because of all the world. The rooms are spacious and cozy, the gasthof urig and the food is good.Feine weine and snapse along with Hungarian waiter round the offer harmoniously.Lovely well maintained spatialities to the cellar create corresponding atmosphere. We'll be happy to come back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wastlwirt:
our expectations to the wastlwirt were quite high from the good experience of 30 years. Unfortunately, we had to find that both the service and the kitchen have dropped very well in their quality. Although no high-powered operation had to wait very long to give up the order. when then the main dish was served deep-cooled vegetables, which was not even cooked, the disappointment was great. Light up, but no lunch on the afternoon. only opened at 17 o'clock. bad information outside. maybe they are better prepared for winter guests
We had Christmas lunch and the food was excellent. the service was good, the food was good, the wine was excellent and we would have given 5 stars but unfortunately we were not warned that the kitchen was closing so we missed dessert.
Good food. Great service. Go for the buffet. Good wine too from the local region. Great waitresses for the region dressed in traditional garb
This was a very good dinner in a beautiful setting. Buffet was really well done with the chef preparing the meat.
The waiter Manuel that works in this restaurant is extremely aggressive. We were given a table for people, even though there were of us. The waiter just told us to squeeze in. My wife spoke the owner who moved us to a large...enough table, and when the waiter saw we had moved, literally shouted at us. This is not a cheap restaurant, and this behaviour is not acceptable. Everyone else working in the restaurant was helpful, and a shame that Manuel was so rude. The same happened at breakfast (we were staying in the hotel) when we arrived at as a family, Manuel literally shouted at my wife saying 'you have to be out by His behaviour worried my kids, who kept telling me we had to hurry up with our breakfast. This is not OK. I do hope that this traditional restaurant addresses this behaviour with Manuel. Maybe Manuel is good at his job, but his behaviour towards customers is not acceptable. Other staff in the restaurant did not behave the same way.
