To be able to pay with credit card we had to accept a surcharge of 2€ for the credit card fee. Unbelievable and unacceptable.

When I booked the table I was told we could have it for an hour and a half - no proble... read more We ate at this pizzeria, as we stayed in an appartment directly above it. When I booked the table I was told we could have it for an hour and a half - no problem with that. The food came actually extremely quickly - my Pizza came first, which surprised me a bit, as they generally have to be made and cooked in the wooden oven. My wife and son ordered Pasta - which can be pre-prepared and served with the correct sauce etc. This came a few minutes later. They served my son a reduced portion of a "dish off the normal menu - childrens portions aren't advertised and there is the usual selection of predictable kids dishes. The drinks also came quickly. The food was fine - can't complain at all. At the end of the meal my wife wanted a second glass of wine - we got the feeling they just wanted the table back - people were coming in and being turned away. In the end we were there about an hour, just felt a bit rushed at the end, although we had 30 mins spare. As there aren't a great deal of options in St, Michael, places like this are a good value alternative to the large hotels offering heavy local dishes.

Maybe it is due to the staff not being able to speak good English? The lady who works the bar is very nice though.Charged 1 euro for a glass of tap water, even though we have spent hundreds of euros over 4 evenings. Customer service could be improved but the food is great.

Good pizza, perfect pasta, amazing wine and the desserts! I just can't find anything I wouldn't like. The service was excellent too. The waitress were kind, observant and quick. Really good place to eat a great meals.

We were advised not to take soup because serving are big. And servings are really big. Value for money is excellent. Great owner and very polite and professional staff. Great schnapps as well Excellent place in St. Michael im Lungau if you are around, don’t miss it.

Reservation is needed and we didn’t have any but they asked another guests is it OK to share table since the table was really big. I highly recommend this place! Additional: most of staff speak croatian/bosnian/slovenian so if you are from those countries- you will feel like home.

In the menu they say that many dishes can be mad... read more Nice pizzeria, since april 2019 with new Dutch owners. Very friendly owners and good quality wood oven pizza’s. In the menu they say that many dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan. However ... this only means they will leave out the Mozzarella. They don’t have any real vegan pizza’s in the menu, only 4 vegetarian. So, as a vegan, you’ll end up with the classic solution for vegans in many pizzeria’s: pizza verdura without the cheese... Did not check out the pasta dishes...
