Be sure t... read more This is a truly awesome hotel overlooking the Rhine. I recommend the half pension that includes a delicious gourmet dinner in a beautiful dining room. Be sure to make reservations and request a table next to the window. The view of the vineyards, the town of St. Goar and the boat traffic on the Rhine below is a memory you will cherish. There is also an outdoor patio entered through the gift shop that is a perfect spot for an afternoon snack and/or beer while enjoying the fantastic view. The buffet breakfast is as good as you will find anywhere. Our room was in the annex and was spacious and comfortable. There is a small buffet available in the annex with drinks and pastries. Parking and WiFi are free. Careful exiting the parking lot; it is in the middle of two blind corners.
