Wirtshaus Zum Mandy - Sankt Gilgen

Just a 5 minute walk from the place where the boats arrive, this still is a place away from the crowd. Nevertheless it is very good. I had the traditional Wiener schnitzel and it was a good one! Service is very friendly.

We had been on the way at first juni 2015 with a small motorcycle group in st. gilgen and wanted to refresh ourselves in the sea. the beach bath recommended to us by locals mocks every description. we received a kartoffe painter, partly framed with bauzaun!?. a possibility to move or even toilets are here in vain. there should be a need to re-improve! so it came that we had to misuse the local beach bath for our shops. of course not without taking our dinner in the beautiful beer garden. it is located directly on the road, but it is not at all a bit, because it is located about 300 metres from the town centre and it is quiet there.Our food was freshly prepared, warm (which is unfortunately not stable) and was served quickly and friendly. Here a steak-toast and the wild salmon marvelled with excellent taste and as an eye-catcher. the prices can be called, measured with other local local, really fair and cheap.The one also took time for a small chat and was assisting with tools for a small repair.In fact, this restaurant would get from the biker crew oberpfalz 10 points.......St. gilgen has at least been to thank these wetsleuten that we were not to thank. from the top

"wirtshaus zum mandy" is not even 5 minutes walk from the center of st. gilgen. from the beer garden a beautiful view of the wolfgangssee is to be enjoyed. not to forget is the friendly and courteous service. the very good food is definitely worth its price and cheaper in comparison to the other host houses in the place and also a real tasty for eyes and palates.

Unfortunately a catastophe, poor local, spit-off menu,the chef??????,the personal??????really revered sanitary facility, all evacuated and ancient,where the place on top would be.....10m to the lake,fescher garden....so you don't want to be canceled in st.gilgen....

Small local with smoker area just after the entrance and non-smoking area after the passage into the insignificantly larger space. but for the purpose of taking a lunchtime and drinks, it is sufficient, especially when you arrive at 14.00 clock and other local people have closed in the meantime. who, of course, has raised claims, must seek another local one. to visit this time only from me and shortly after that from a young couple.
