...veggie burgers once and a specialty cheese pasta the other...it's a beautiful location and reasonably priced, the beer's great and the food's ok. On a sunny day there's few better places in St Anton to enjoy the afternoon...
Extensive salad bar with prosciutto follow with carrots and ginger soup. A selection of three nets, scallops with risotto or roast beef with onion red wine jus or gnocchi with pepper and mushroom with parmesan cheese. Follow a light fluffy chocolate mousse with popping... candy with white chocolate neck thin block and a round chocolate ball with raspberry on the inside. Good value.

On a popular day we found post cellars, which was the first restaurant to have space for our group of 14 people. On the ground floor of the 4-star hotel is the word to note is expensive. Yes, the prices are above average, but... not Michelin-like expensive. The environment you feel like a privileged citizen, the service itself is friendly, but unfortunately the waiters in a hurry seem to be all the time and you have to try to get them to notice you. Meals are decent and beautiful, but not as excellent as the atmosphere suggests you. You can easily pay separately, which is a bonus for large groups.
Only had drinks here as the food wasn't to our fancy on that day. They had a great array of drinks, some on the menu are unique and intriguing. Key feature is the outdoor seating area, which is quite large and is a terrace, so...it's nice being raised above the town. The service is great but you would hope so with the prices they are charging (not cheap).
During a week skiing with family in San Anton some of the group visited for a drink one afternoon. We sat in the sun outside and enjoyed a couple of bottles of Prosecco and a sandwich. The girl that served us was attentive, welcoming and despite being obviously busy she was happy to take a photo for us. It was a bit on the expensive side, but a lovely spot. Having had such a nice experience a couple of us were looking for somewhere for lunch the following day and decided we would return. Sadly the experience was totally different. It was no busier than the day before, but he waiting staff were different. We sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to serve us. Eventually we caught the attention of a waitress and asked if we could order. She pointed to her male colleague and said he would take our order. We saw her speak to him and point to us, but sadly after another 10 minutes he hadn't ventured near our table so we got up and left. We actually walked slowly past him on the way out (just in case he might catch us and persuade us to stay).... but that didn't happen! We did think about going to the main hotel reception to complain to the manager as it was such poor service, but in honesty we were so hungry by then we didn't!. It was their loss as we were a party of over 20 and all recommended places to eat to each other. With at least some of us eating in San Anton each day they lost more than just our lunch business that day
