Sultan Biryani - Sankarankovil

Visited this hotel after a long time. Because of crowd, Same old pattern of waiting behind the chair. After 15 mins of waiting we have got the chair. Served mutton Biryani and Raitha. Biryani is less spicy and oil with more mutton pieces, mutton is soft and well cooked. BEST PART IS YOUR STOMACH WILL NOT FEEL HEAVY. Best place to try Birayani..

I heard about this biriyani during my college days, since then I wanted to try but couldn't get a chance. Recently, while returning from krishnankoil I visited this restaurant. The moment I seated there the server without asking me any questions served a hot mutton biriyani on banana leaf. Maybe they don't have chicken biriyani, I accepted it as that was what I waited for. After serving the biriyani he asked me whether I need mutton chukka, chicken chukka or boiled eggs. Unlike many other places boiled eggs are an option for you. I have ordered mutton chukka only. The biriyani is tasty . If I had been there at my younger age I would have ordered two more plates. I don't want to take any risk now so I stopped with the initial serving. I honestly recommend this place for the biriyani lovers. Don't judge the biriyani by the appearance of this hotel, it looks traditional I liked it.

This hotel i came to know by my grandpa when i said I'm at Sankarankoil..Seriously i loved this mutton Briyani,still the taste is in tongue ..i went their two years back but suddenly remembered when i was seeing pics in gallery ..good quality food but the problem is have to wait for long time since it'll be too crowded .. highly recommend ppls to place taste when u visit... highlight was they serve even 1/4 of briyani which was 60 guess not sure...

Good place with maintained. Older style of preparation taste good buy quantity is very less . You have spend 700 for two person. When u think about location it's reall costly. Also, crowd managed is poor . It's small place to handle the big crowd . Need to improve on quantity and place

Awesome mutton briyani, but chicken Chukka is not upto the mark. We may get special chicken Chukka in other small restaurants.
