Auberge de la Tour de Brison - Sanilhac

After you reach the end of the world, you carry on for a couple of hundred metres and find this place. We had no expectations, and were bowled over, bouleversé indeed, by the quality of the food, the ambience of the setting, and the friendliness of the service. Prix fixe menu, between the three of us all the starters and main courses very good, the cheeseboard also, and the fresh cheese alternative an eye-opener ! , the desserts wonderful. You get the feeling that it is a matter of personal pride on the part of the patron family to serve good food. They succeeded.

Sanilhac lies at the end of quite a long road up from Joyeuse and Vincent. It is well worth the time, both for the views on the way up and from the pretty terrace outside the auberge. The owners are very friendly, service good and the set meal excellent. Don't shy away from the cheese course, and opt for the soft cheese which comes with some surprising accompaniments- I'll say no more! Our set menus were €31.50 and the drinkable red €9 per half litre pichet. Between three couples we had a good mix of dishes with no complaints. Worth another visit when we're next in the area.

It is difficult to arrive in this establishment that you breathe well being and simplicity. Here you are sitting on the edge of the world. the view of the restaurant's terrace is superb and it's running more as you swim in the overflowing pool. You will be charmed by the serenity of the place, the reception of the chef, the authentic setting and the animals of the inn (the goat, the cat, the geese, ...). as to your plate, it will be worthy of the Ardéchois epicurians. a beautiful place to leave everyday life and plunge into simple pleasures. Good continuation to the Inn team.

Just in the top, a quiet and beautiful place, a super nice boss, a delicious kitchen, rooms at the top really nothing to say about our weekend. We will return as soon as possible, and I hope to stay longer this time.
