One of the best places to dive! Amazing lamb, delicate, falls out of the bone. Macadamia crossed groupers over Quinoa. Laugh over a bed Risotto. All perfectly prepared for perfection. Her warm spinach salad was also delicious. Crème brûlée or Key Lime pie was from this world! Reserve in advance as the sun is within a certain time frame. If you have forgotten to make a reservation, take your chances and ask to eat in their bar. The service and food are also wonderful. Something else, your service is just as fantastic, but Scott is one of those shiny stars. Thank you for making our experience so special! He treats all he serves with the same gentle and professional way. You are the best!

Cute diner with a small patio serving excellent food. We talked about the burger for days, then returned for brunch. The salmon eggs Benedict was incredible ? with smoked salmon, capers, and raw onions, it was like the Benedict version of bagels and lox. And to top it off, the servers were friendly and fun to be around.

What a great experience, we 've been coming to Sanibel for years, and I can 't believe it was our 1st experience with the Sunset Grill..because of a compromised immune system we couldn 't enjoy dining in so I called ahead and spoke to a awesome young woman Heather ..she was patient and recommended some great ideas for dinner..I had the Chicken with mash potatoes and veggies, we also had the grouper and at her suggestion I tried the crab shrimp bisque ..delicious..Heather thank you for the kind helpful help, and when I picked it up you were even nicer in person..just the service alone would bring me back, but hoping next year will allow me the privilege of dining in, and hope to see you again Heather..great food, and service ..til next year here 's wishing you a great season.

This was one of favorite restaurant in the island! We had delicious meals with fresh fish, lobster, scallops! The waitress was polite and efficient. The only complaint is we were EATEN ALIVE by the no-see-ems. If you haven?t heard, they are gnat-like bugs that you don?t see or feel until it?s too late. The notes are itchier than mosquitoes. Supposedly baby oil works well to prevent them from latching, (don?t apply during the day, you?ll get a sunburn) around sunset and later. Bug spray didn?t help much.

Absolutely excellent food here along with dessert options. Half chicken was so juicy and the grouper melted in my mouth with the mango salsa.... Try the key lime pie and the apple crisp, you won't be disappointed! Great comfort food. And the view at sunset is breathtaking.
