This is a not so hidden Gem in Sanger. Leonard welcomed a somewhat odd bunch of Canadians (and one Texan) like we were family and gave us enough food to feed an army. It is truly a Texas treat and must eat. Seems to be a hometown favourite, and now we know why. View all feedback.

We had a quick visit in the rain to get food for takeout. All of it was amazing. We had a big group and got to try a little of everything: we would recommend everything. ??
Stopped on way back from Winstar.Had the 3 meat plate.Enough for wife me to eat later in the day at home.Serious bbq, tender and flavorful.Beans were amazing as well. This is a Must-Stop on future trips.
I paid 24 dollars(19 dollars for the plate and I left a 5 dollar tip). I’ve never been here before but I had to stop for lunch. It was a cash only type of deal, but when I tell you the drive to the closest ATM didn’t make me forget about the smell! Please drop by, this guy will take care of you and he’s super friendly. Make note of the turn into the little parking lot type deal. It was a great experience and I plan to be here more often.P.S. the potato salad was great!
We ordered brisket for our family Christmas. It was so good and moist. Thank you!! I am very picky about my brisket. I grew up with my dad making it. It really took all the preasure off the people preparing for the meal. If I could give you 10 star I would. Thanks again. Y'all go check out Peeper Belly BBQ in Sanger, TX for your next get together. It is so worth it.
