Mcdonald's - Sanford

Many years ago, I visited this McDonald's, and it was like any other—always make sure to check your order, and the staff had a routine. However, if you were hungry and in a rush, it got the job done. Today marked my first visit in about ten years, and while I had to wait a little longer for my order—which wasn't particularly complicated—the delay wasn't due to the two young men at the window. They truly exemplified excellent customer service. Both were incredibly friendly, warm, and considerate, going out of their way to ask about my day while they processed my payment and handed me my food. While customer service doesn't always come first, especially when I'm focused on speed or accuracy due to being in a hurry, today it made all the difference and brought a smile to my face. Fantastic job!

Hopefully, the drive-thru is better, but with no one else in line, my order was not taken for a full 15 minutes, then I waited 10 minutes to get my order. This facility had employees everywhere, but did not focus on a task. Disorganized from my point of view.

The food was served hot and fresh. The service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Yesterday at 6:30 p.m. the ride was packed through the line, so we went in. He waited almost 3 minutes before he even realized. Average speed of service stores were nice and hot. During the waiting the family came back to us because she had forgotten a fish fillet sandwich. When we got into the car, she realized that she had forgotten my husband's iced tea. Overall, this is a better McDonald's than that of i-4 and DeBary.

This McDonald's did their best during the Saturday evening rush despite being severely understaffed. I want to commend the staff for staying polite and professional in such a high-pressure situation, with cars wrapped around the building and a surge of online orders. A big shoutout to the team for their efforts. I really hope to see this location better staffed in the future.
