Am a resident at the Uni so have seen Pepperz daily for some time. The menu is extremely limited. Whatever does not sell at lunch (which already looks like it's been hanging around for hours...) is rehashed into dinner. The overall food portions are small and relatively expensive. The food quality overall is poor, ranging from burnt for things like parmies, schnitzels and lasagne, so fishy and not consumable for the squid rings, through to like hours old re-heats for things like chips. Whatever does not sell at lunch is transformed into a dinner menu, again, hours and hours old, dead and tired. If you have any respect for your digestive system, don't go here!
For a campus restaurant, the food is surprisingly of a high quality. For Tasmania, the prices are very reasonable. Hours can be somewhat difficult to navigate (11-7) during the summer time.
No bean sprouts early semester 1 2014 :( But now they have it again for noodle soups. Vietnamese Beef Noodle soup here is good in terms of both price and
The food was great, prices were reasonable, and the waiter/waitress even found my lost AirPods and returned them to me. Thanks!
