Mike W. was the rudest waiter. I understand if you're busy and short-staffed but you don't walk by a table, after throwing our food down, and never ask how our meal is or if we need anything else. We had intended to order another cocktail and 2 deserts, but didn't becuase of the rude service. Thankfully, the food was delicious.
Hidden gem of Snowbird. Best culinary experience not only in Snowbird but in SLC (incl. PC). Food is delicious, main and kids menu. Waiters are very professional. Nice interior, but views (especially after snowstorm) are truly breathtaking! Like inwinter wonderland! Go there hungry or not and try to get window table.
The service was quite slow during our visit. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed, likely due to the impending road closure at 9 PM. We're currently stuck at our hotel, the Lodge, where the Bistro is located, and unfortunately, the only food options available are granola bars and instant soup. They aren’t allowing us to ski or walk to find food elsewhere, which feels quite limiting. It seems like Snowbird is not well-prepared for snowfall and lacks adequate plans and staffing to handle these situations.
Excellent Coconut shrimp appetizer...as good as it was 45 years ago. All food and Service was excellent as it always has been. We do miss the fireplace and circular corner booth that used to be in the Bar area.
If you’re reading this, you are likely deciding where to dine while visiting Snowbird. All of the outlets are distinct and good at what they are. That said, The Lodge Bistro is perhaps my favorite on account of the ‘slow burn’ après-ski atmosphere. It has the feel of a cozy, mountain locals establishment. Not too loud, too rushed, and a well executed European cuisine I enjoy. Very strong kitchen.
