Sandwich And Pegwell Bay

Pegwell country park is a place to visit and then you will understand its beauty. My daughter calls it little afrika! I've never taken anyone there and they haven't loved it. There are horses.. There are special large cows- can't remember the herds name Apparently it's a bird watchers paradise which doesn't surprise me...they have a birdwatchers hut too... Oh yes children's playground which has been recently updated which is not far from the cafe. They have toilets too and an outside tap for cleansing and dog drinking...lovely place which I try to visit weekly...

We had a great guided walk with a knowledge guide. Weather was good which always helps. Would have been a 5 review but on arriving back the cafes were CLOSED AT 3.30 in summer holidays how ridiculous.

I used to go here as a child, but I haven't been for ages. I took my kids the last couple of weekends with my dog and what a beautiful place and friendly people. Will walk my dog here more often
