What James Faurote doesn't like about The Seal:
The idea is nice but the execution is lackluster.Had six people in our party and the vote was split on if the food was good or not. Some tacos yes, flatbread no, bowls ok. Drinks were good and we would have ordered more but never got the chance. They had 1 bartender and 1 server. The entire meal took 2 hours. Nice space with art work from local artists adorning the brick walls. I a bit plain and simple with food so I didn?t see much on the menu that appealed to me but I had a clam chowder and some drinks. My wife also had a chowder and a lobster roll. Sheliked them both. There is a good size bar and table seating available. I had a bourbon rocks and a can of my current favoriteIPA Sip of Sunshine. The IPA was only $6 which is the lowest price I?ve seen at any bar. Our waitress, Jennifer was veryfriendly and we enjoyed talking with her. Plenty of street parking is available. Although I won?t eat there again I willdefinitely be stopping in for drinks every time we stay in Sandwich. Definitely check it out sometime.
Amazing staff, lovely ambiance with delicious drinks. To top it all off the food was amazing!
Nice food tacos, seafood rolls, etc. Wait staff is very cheerful and helpful. It can easily get noisy if you have a few loud people at the bar.
Delightful new addition to Sandwich restaurants. Artsy ambiance and friendly staff! Excellent eclectic menu!
