What User doesn't like about The Crosswells Inn:
the service had arrived terrible, was asked to wait while they cleaned our table. ok. when we went back, he was given table to another group. we waited for more minutes to get a table. that was cold. we had to go to the lounge for our own drinks. I had to clean the table and expect someone to ask us about the desert. that didn't happen. Although I complained, I did not receive an apology or something. If they want to... View all feedback.
Popped in a few days ago and had a Bostin meal here. It came quite quickly, plenty of food on the plate and was hot! With a pint of John Smith's, it was a Bostin meal!
Visited The Crosswells for a third time for Sunday lunch and have to say it is the best around. The variety of vegetables is amazing and all cooked to perfection, there’s a good variety of meats as well and again all cooked perfectly. Definitely must...try and the Jack Rabbit Chardonnay goes very well with the lunch.
We visit this venue often as the staff are so welciming and friendly and it is outstanding value for money. meat carvery including lamb (my favourite) . Huge selection of vegetables all cooked well. Served in large conservatory at the back of the...public house. large free car park. Keep up the good work. Carvery under per head, also open on some week days. If carvery not your thing they also offer a wide range of pizza.
Visited at the session, last for the day. our temperatures were taken on the entrance and everything was as it should be. we all had a carousel, bark and truthahn, with all the vege and a beautiful big yorkshire pudding. adult were good worth...it was just a little quibble, but it will be on the website as for an adult and a child part when in the did it was advertised for the children. the personal was beautiful and very attentive and the place looked very clean. we ordered an egg for our year old and a swallow for our month old. the sling was and the sling was this seemed a tad expensive compared to the rest of the menu. we couldn't tell them what the rest of the puddings cost, as it just said on the paper menu to ask employees about desserts available. So it's better if they order them. All in all, we would definitely be back for the carvery, but leave them desserts alone.
Went once with a friend enjoyed the food so much went again the following week. Busy pub best to make a reservation unless you dont mind waiting. Definetely somewhere I will keep in mind when I want a good Sunday dinner
