I really enjoy their cod fish and chips, and the donner kebab is top-notch - it doesn't fall out of the pita bread! The curries are also excellent. The staff is very polite and provides a warm welcome. The shop is takeout only, with no seating, but it has a classic chippy feel.

The chips looked like they were 2 days old and the fish was terrible. I was charged £18 for food that was so bad it ended up in the bin. If I could, I would give this place no stars.

The person who served me had an open wound on their finger that was not covered properly. I paid for my meal but ended up throwing it away because of the unhygienic conditions. I find this experience disgusting and a violation of food safety regulations. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Inside though you'll find friendly cheerful staff, and well stocked fish bar that's displaying a very tasty fresh looking range of fish, sausages, pies and samosas. The chips are great big portions for the price and the staff will also offer to fry off in vegetable oil if you'd prefer. A great find, and now the only chip shop I'd consider visiting in Smethwick.

The chicken leg was enormous and packed with meat. I definitely plan to come back for more. The service provided by the staff and owners was excellent!
