While its decor may be understated, diners rave about the exceptional food, particularly the mixed grill and assorted curries. However, recent changes in the kitchen have sparked concern among regulars, as the departure of the original chef has affected the quality somewhat. Despite this, the friendly staff and reasonable prices continue to attract patrons eager for hearty, authentic flavors. With a child-friendly atmosphere and a solid selection of beverages, it remains a beloved spot for locals looking to enjoy comforting, flavorful meals.
The original chef and his team have opened a new restaurant in stourbridge called the yak. eating was still good, but not as good as before. what it was really leaving was the service, the starter and the main thing that. to the same and have to wait for cutlery.
Before, the curry at this restaurant was outstanding. Unfortunately, the chef and his team have left and now it just isn't the same. Does anyone know what happened?
On the day before the lock off. asked for a big mix grill 2 curries. I found home that there were no kebabs or sheekh kebabs! if they had mentioned that they had none, I would have changed the order!
Can not eat very enough about this place that was amazing. I wish there were more places like these in london and surroundings. best authentic Punjabi food I had in any restaurant.
I have visited this restaurant several times and the food is always superb. I particularly enjoyed the prawn and lamb dishes. I highly recommend this place.
