We had a good stay at Breakers while staying at Cedar Point. The access to the park is awesome. There was an entrance right next to Magnum and about 100 yards from our building. The rooms were spacious enough and were clean. The main building had everything that we needed. There are several restaurants on site, as well as pools, laundry, and an arcade. View all feedback.
What Burt W doesn't like about Mufflehead's Beach:
Ugh. Could be way better. Very slow stupid front desk. Unable to provide simple information or understand basic requests. Place is old and smells old, NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM- 1 star penalty there. Perkins restaurant in lobby HORRIBLE. Elevators often OUT of SERVICE. The only good thing here is LOCATION of course. All upper management running this place should be FIRED. View all feedback.
Excellent hotel/resort with professional and personable staff. Everything is within easy walking distance , good restaurants, pools, hot tubs, fire pits, the boardwalk, beach, Cedar Point roller coaster park, etc. Went for a long birthday weekend. Can't wait until my next birthday!

You will spend most of your first night here waiting for your room. It is uncalled for that a paying customer has to wait till almost last dinner time until a room is ready. The lines wrap around the hotel. We get here early, but we still wait hours for a room. The only reason for such chaos is POOR MANAGEMENT. PERIOD. There is no excuse to have such chaos at your check-in. There is no reason paying customers can't access a room they paid for earlier. They must start cleaning staff shifts at 3:30 here and then start cleaning rooms at 4:00 when the lines are wrapped around the door. I really don't understand how else could be so poorly run. Why aren't rooms cleaned as soon as people are checking out in the morning? What is going on here? Advise to management; learn processes. Develop operating procedures. Figure out why are your rooms not being turned over right away when people check out? Go to seminars in figuring out hotel management. Invest in a manager who can develop good standard operating procedure. Good God Almighty what a poorly mismanaged place.

Ok it's expensive but the hotel can give you a Caribbean experience plus Disney Park environment for nickels compared to the actual. We had an amazing room amazing experience and are counting down the days to do this a 4th time.
