I arrived late at night with $200 in food and was warmly greeted by a very friendly young lady. I was extremely impressed. The restaurant was bustling even during the pandemic. I am happy I decided to try this place instead of going to Walmart. I will definitely be shopping at Kroger in Sandusky from now on! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kroger Bakery:
I ordered 2 dessert platters for a special event with a specific pick-up date and time. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick them up, I was informed that they had not been prepared. They offered to put something together for me on the spot, but it was not what I had originally requested. View all feedback.
Only 2 check-outs open to busy time of the day. waited 15 minutes to check. will not go back!!!
#SanduskyOhioLocation Have 2 cashiers working and the rest of the check out is “self checkout”...it’s a joke when it’s so crowded and the cashier are not friendly they look like they hate their jobs as do the baggers and they suck at bagging groceries.

So I placed a order for pickup and Leah came out to review my substitutions/partially filled items. Although I had requested substitutions, one of the main items in my order was not substituted. Leah ran clear across the store to grab the missing substitute item for me and talked to her supervisor so I got it free of charge. When a clearly, winded Leah returned to my car with the missing item (a box cake... dont judge me ???????? she smiled as if her extra effort was no big deal! Leah was kind and considerate and even though a missing box cake probably meant very little to her, she recognized its importance to me and promptly corrected the situation without hesitation. Leah is amazing and interacting with her brightened my entire day! Thank you, Leah!!!!
I'll also put this on the main page for Kroger since no one (I've made 4 calls) knows who I should speak about a delivered order that was incorrect. Called the store nope, need to call Instacart at 800-952-8889. That was fun. NOT. The prompts don't understand words like Order, Help, Customer Service...you know, the main ones. So I hit 0. I'll transfer you to the correct place. Nope. Not the correct place. Cannot transfer me, but have to hang up and call again. Let's say I called two more times and the last one, I told him my order was wrong and I probably have part of someone else's order and he proceeds (no kidding) to ask me if I'm a customer. Yep. He did. After I mentioned it 4 times on 3 calls and at least once to him. Let's just say, ClickList is okay if you pick it up from the store. Having it delivered....NOT AT ALL And I'm finding it hard to find why the store cannot get a hold of the driver to let him know I have part of someone else's order. Guess that person will be calling....at least another 4 times Oh, have not even mentioned that my receipt comes out to $18 less than what they took from my bank) SMH.
