Great mood in this clean, modern and yet comfortable room. We sat at the bar and were impressed by the kindness and expertise of the bartender. Appetizers with several local friends were delicious. Excellent location. Much more than the average irrigation hole! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Back Door:
Bad service. Waited a long time for someone to even approach me. Not busy and not understaffed. Bar unattended for long periods of time. Not to mention the brutal wait to try and pay my tab. Can’t recommend. View all feedback.

I'm pretty new in town. I'm from Seattle, so it took places like the backdoor to help me with the environment. It is funny and covered with a refined and relaxed atmosphere. The service is fantastic and the drinks are on the flair. One of the main attractions is Brandon, the kind-hearted experienced bartender that offers a cozy smile, a big banter and a lot of laughter. Good times!
Great relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, the food was great and the live music was just perfect for setting
The atmosphere of this place is absolutely amazing. Anthony the bartender is a riot and you can bet that I'm trying here with my fiancée every Sunday. The fondue is great and I never thought that a bar / restaurant would serve fondue and it was amazing.
The Backdoor is the secret gem of Sandpoint. A locals only vibe that will give you that Cheers, were everyone knows your name feeling from the very first visit. Walking in you will be be warmly greeted by the best bartender in the world, Brandon. Brandon 's expertise and witty banter are the core of this establishment. They have a carefully selected choice of craft beers, hard to come by and a simple but on-point menu.
