I liked how you could watch the coffee beans get grinded they also gave me more chocolate in my cocoa for free! So I think this is a 5 star coffee shop. I let my son write this review, but I agree with his rating. ? We had muffins and they were quite tasty. The staff was kind and the coffee was delicious. View all feedback.
What Alyse Young doesn't like about Monarch Mountain Coffee:
Espresso machine was down and I got charged $7.42 for a “pumpkin latte” but it was drip coffee with a ton of sugar syrup. Drip with syrup and milk should never cost almost $8 and also still taste like booty. View all feedback.
Disappointed. Not cool to nickel and dime customers to death. We purchased a large coffee and two very small (and rather gross) burritos total approx $20 and she wouldn’t give us a cup of water. I have never, in all of my years traveling around the world, had to pay for tap water. Our friends from Sandpoint were embarrassed and disgusted to hear about it. She offered us salsa with the burritos but didn’t tell us it was going to cost more. Not cool! The burritos were awful; we couldn’t finish them. She also gave us a fork and no knife to eat a burrito. Really? Very strange. She also couldn’t be bothered to bring our order to the table three or four steps away….A small gesture when there were no other customers. No wonder no one was in the cafe. Definitely won’t be back. I recommend going to Bluebird Bakery. Much nicer place with much better Sandpoint manners and culture.

Drove up from Coeur D Alene to spend the day working and touring Sandpoint, I have been to this place twice now and it's a cute local shop with all the hometown vibes. The staff is friendly and my drink was prepared quickly and tastes great! The charm of this little town will bring core memories to your family!
Delicious coffee, great service. My boyfriend ordered something off menu and she wasn't sure if it would be good (White Chocolate Blackberry Latte) and said if he didn't like it to let her know so she can help adjust it. But he enjoyed it so all was good!
High quality coffee roasted in house, homemade organic syrups, it truly doesn’t get better ?. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, local artists hung on the walls, what a phenomenal place to go! Dietary restrictions: They have all sorts of options for alternative milks as well as being knowledgeable about ingredients and the ability to let you know if something if safe given your dietary restrictions
