Charming café in the middle of an ancient emperor. Wonderful sandwiches, cookies and tea. BUT, the woman who owns the restaurant is incredibly ugly and abrupt. While on the other side of the coin her husband is polite and polite. My husband paid her a compliment and her answer was? I know it's a great restaurant...? Not very gracious. A café. I'd come back, but on my next visit, I'll be guard when she's here. View all feedback.

I had a wonderful experience with the friendly service and clean decor. I have no regrets about my visit! The Turk Sandwich is an excellent value. I would suggest adding a bit more dressing to the side salad that comes with it. Highly recommended—delicious!

Charming café located in an ancient emperor's domain. The sandwiches, cookies, and tea are delightful. However, the owner possesses a rather unappealing demeanor and can be quite brusque. In contrast, her husband is courteous and kind. When my husband complimented her, her response was, "I know it's a great restaurant..." which felt rather dismissive. Despite this, I would return, but I'll be cautious if she's there during my next visit.

Amazing place! The food is fresh, organic, and prepared with care! It's linked to one of the finest antique shops, which also offers vintage clothing and jewelry. It's truly a delightful experience!

Very sweet little place! I love the local, rustic atmosphere. The sandwiches are great and I appreciate the great selection of teas.

Food is great...homemade good portions great flavor profiles. Probably one of the better places I've eaten at here in sandpoint. They just need a sign. I googled directions and from their parking still didn't know were they were I had to call them to find out they were inside the antique shop. Quality takes time, this isn't a fast food joint so .......
