And I took time to get to this one because we had such a great and unforgettable experience here. First of all, dogs are allowed in this hotel, so that’s already a plus point. The service: We found out, my partner emailed them the wrong dates for which we wanted to reserve the room. But upon arrival, the receptionist-cum-owner was really friendly and to our delight and relief, there was a room free for us. The restaurant also has very friendly service crew. Very attentive and absolutely friendly. The place: It is a very vintage-looking place, and therefore, no elevator. Although our room was at the top floor, it was to our pleasant surprise that we got the best view over the lake and that the room was so modern but tastefully decorated with a touch of antique pieces. There is also ample of parking spaces outside. The hotel is directly connected to the path around the lake. The view: I have no other words besides tranquil and beautiful. You just have to see it for yourself! The restaurant: I have heard from a regular visitor that they hire different chefs seasonally. And my goodness, from the first dinner, we were looking forward to dinner every day. It was the highlight of our stay there! I have been to many places but it is here, I have had the best omelette so far in my life. It is always a three-course meal. Always in the right portion. We are just so impressed how the chef knows how to pace his patrons and delight our tastebuds with such common food. And definitely try out their house-wine. Very well selected. All in all, I highly recommend this place for a nice chill getaway.
