We were taken aback by a $60 bill at the end of our meal. Although it was my oversight, as vegetarians we found most of the buffet options unappetizing, which made us feel like we wasted our money. Later that evening, we opted for dinner in the sushi section since Sandcastles was closed. After waiting for a few minutes, we had to inquire with a staff member about whether we could seat ourselves, which we eventually did. After a 15-minute wait, we figured we needed to find our own menus. It took another ten minutes before we managed to get the attention of another staff member to request a server. Once seated, it took more than 30 minutes to receive our drinks. The four dishes we ordered arrived one by one, with hardly enough time for each person to finish before the next dish came out. By the time my sushi finally arrived, my whole family had already finished their meals, and there was no soy sauce provided. The server mentioned she would bring some, but first, she cleared another table, chatted with a coworker, and entered information into the computer while I sat there, hungry and waiting for my meal, which ultimately disappointed me. It seems that people choose to eat at the on-site restaurants primarily for convenience. Unfortunately, the service was terrible and disorganized, and the food was mediocre at best.

My parents ordered the seafood platter, and my partner had the Cuban sandwich, which he liked. We also sampled the breakfast buffet; it was good, but for $28 per person, I expected something a bit more impressive. Our server was quick to bring the check after just 20 minutes, even though I had asked for coffee. Given the high standards I associate with Hilton hotels, I was a bit disappointed with the service.
