Imported Imported Fish! Wow! Blink too long and you'll almost certainly miss it. In case you don't miss it, please go in to try it. This fish and chips diner is second to none. I was so impressed by the quality of the fish. I've been to Faslane, Scotland twice and it reminded me every bit of that. The way the fish is fried and the chips to. The menu is straight to the point. There aren't a lot of questions you'll be searching for. I order the fried Haddock which was the size of my forearm. It is definitely a shareable size. It was not full of bread and grease. It had a lot of fish meat inside. I loved that it didn't crumble as we were tearing at it. The prices are above market but the fish is imported so that I understand. I paid 17 dollars for the Haddock but again it was a very large piece of fish and a large serving of chips. Do yourself the favor and please try this gem!

If you want some authentic Irish Fish Chips fries .. this is a fantastic choice .. from delicious battered cod, haddock or pollock to Irish sausages to Authentic Irish Curry Chips and even some great Irish chocolate bars .. this location has it all .. Amy was wonderfully helpful tonight as all the staff usually are .. definitely worth a trip for a delicious meal with generous sized portions ..

This place is a nice British Hole in the wall in between Norfolk and VB and surely should not be missed. I love their food here because it's well cooked and it's not too greasy. You gotta try their classic fish and chips. I went for the cod, and man oh man. Banger. I also tried the mushy peas and it was very savory! I never had peas that way and I would prefer it less mushy, but to each their own. I wish more people can go here because the service and staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere is great. What's more important is that although they are a fish fry place, it doesn't smell fishy, and the floor isn't gross!

We live near here so decided to check it out. Opened earlier this year. The menu has a good amount of variety.. plates, sandwiches, etc..even burgers. We weren't starving so my husband I decided to split a plate of fish chips. For the restaurant entre price it cost I was expecting 2 pieces of fish, but only comes with one 5x3 or 4 inch piece, though thick, on a bed of fries. The fish was cooked very well...moist inside, perfection crispness on the outside, tasty! very hot (served immediately after cooking). But the fries (chips) definitely were not crispy or very hot. There were bags of fresh potatoes there so they probably make the fries from fresh potatoes, that could explain it since frozen fries make better french fries. Or maybe it's an English thing I don't know. In any case, the fries were lackluster unappealing compared with the perfection of the fried fish. Came with a double-shot glass sized cup of coleslaw (not too sweet) a mini cup of tarter sauce. Plastic eat wear. Pleasant relaxing decor. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. You take your own trash and tray to the trash can upon leaving. About 7 or so tables. Staff nice enough. That piece of fish was good, but all in all due to our budget small portions for the we probably won't go back. Still a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Was really looking forward to trying this as it's in my neighborhood. But just spent $16 for a 4 square piece of cod and basket of limp chips, and I'm feeling kinda sad. Maybe their thing is soft chips, because the fish was crisp and tasty, though small. The Cole Slaw was good.
