It was a S... read more I usually visit the Sushi King in Centerville, but since we were in the area, we thought we would try this location. Unfortunately, we were mistaken. It was a Sunday at 4:30 PM when we were informed that they had run out of miso soup and fried rice. How can you run out of fried rice if you have white rice available? The service was slow, and our server seemed indifferent. I had to ask for a spoon twice, and they were only providing plastic ones. I also had to request a dish for the soy sauce and was never offered any ginger. Additionally, the menu here is slightly different from the one in Centerville, which I find to be better. I was embarrassed to have taken my friends here and definitely won’t be returning.

U... read more Honestly, the only reason I chose this restaurant was because of the service. The two staff members who attended to us were kind, attentive, and very helpful. Unfortunately, for the price we paid, the food was sorely lacking. The house dressing was chunky, the miso soup was quite bad, and the noodles tasted like they were premade and simply reheated. The sushi was excellent since it was made to order, but the other dishes didn’t live up to the hibachi claims—there was no flavor whatsoever. They would benefit greatly by focusing on sushi if they’re going to offer hibachi; to truly claim that title, they need proper grills and to deliver authentic hibachi meals. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re primarily going for sushi, but be prepared to eat well because you’ll still be charged for the $22 buffet, so make sure to get your money’s worth in sushi.
