I travel to the beach for work monthly and after one visit I was hooked! The food is fantastic, no matter what you get. If Valerie is behind the bar, and she usually is, the drinks and conversation will be on point every time! Valerie is an amazing bartender and remembered my name and drink after one night there. Four tables in the entire restaurant, and we waited 2 hours before half of our order showed up only to be told the other half got burned in the oven. Placed a single separate order for bbq wings and they served Buffalo. Only offered to take off cost of burned food that was not served. Valerie is terrible. Served an entire bar without even acknowledging we were there. No 'Hi ' no ' be with you in a minute... ' literally served a guy who walked in and stood beside us after we had been sitting for fifteen minutes. At twenty minutes she offered the people who sat down next to us at the same time their second drink without prompting. Then as we got up told us have a great night! With a smile. You deserve to have upper management see this review Valerie. We are large tippers and always generous to wait staff but you are in the wrong profession. Mike was no better. Stood right in front of us during those twenty minutes. I manage a mid sized company and would want to know if my investment was being handled this poorly. Upper management should not be surprised your bar has a 2.8 rating when your patrons are mostly guests at the hotel and a CAPTIVE audience. We will leave a similar review with the hotel management. Astonishingly disappointed. Unforgivably awful. Guests coming to a Doubletree and ordering Door Dash vs. the in-house bar should be an embarrassment worth fixing.
I must say I was leery after reading the reviews. But I got the She crab soup and it was amazing the spice and the amount of crab was amazing. And for the manager Heath to be my server and bartender I must say his customer service was amazing. I got a pineapple margarita on the rocks and it was perfect. I would definitely come back for this alone my husband only eats cheesesteaks and his was made tonight to perfection. We will come back again thank you
Ordered burger medium well and Burger was served well done. People where just standing around looking for something to do. this place is dated and could use updatingParking: lots of parking the place was dead
Absolutely horrible service two mornings in a row. They advertise for a buffet and haven't had it. Their server hangs out in the back so you have to wait 5mins or more to be seated and yesterday when I actually sat down and was the first person to get an order in it took nearly 30mins to make my omelette and potatoes. And they tried saying they were backed up. How are you backed up if I'm your first order? How do you not offer a buffet that you advertise for? Folks coming to this hotel in mid-October are coming for work, so wasting time waiting for breakfast is not acceptable and the only response I got yesterday was an apology with my check with the tip already added. Absolutely would not recommend eating here, especially if you have places to be in the mornings.
Terrible service It took 15 minutes to get a water and after three requests for a refill never refilled. Took over 35 minutes to get order and it was wrong And took lots NGES to correct. When food finally arrived, I asked for check and after 20 minutes reminded server and finally tracked him down to get check. Wasted 1:20 minutes at this location.
