this place serves various Indian and Malaysian foods. roti canai is the most popular dish. it is served with a small bowl curry. teh tarik is the best drink you can order here. also I love their roti telur (roti canai with a ei.) the owner is genuine Indian. it is open 24h. it will not be enough to order only roti canai, so I also recommend ordering roti telur. What Jane Raj doesn't like about Hameed Curry House:
My partner and I ordered a nasi goreng kambing, roti canai kosong, limau ais and nescafe panas. Mind you the nasi goreng kambing had like 5 pieces of mutton and the total bill was RM40. The nasi goreng kambing was RM30 on its own. We are from Kuala Lumpur and heck even in KL nasi goreng kambing is like RM15. The food is very mediocre and do not recommend for people to come especially if you do not dress like a local.... View all feedback.
Good food..good restaurant. good staff. also good intention. recommended to go here.
Happen to stumble on the restaurant on the way back from Kinabatangan river trip and was get close to 10pm when most of the restaurants in Sandakan close. The restaurant was still busy. Go chatting to the guys working there and they happen to be from South India hence a lot of the dishes had this influence. They had over 16 dishes from chicken, meat, fish and vegetarians, including basmati rice veg mix and best of all they had tandoori naan which also came with small dish of daal. All the dishes we had were really good and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Would definitely recommend it, especially if you having withdrawal of Indian food.
Pleasent and relaxs. Varieties of spicy food avaiable.
