restaurant in a chic resort in sepilok. eating is not as expensive as they would think (about rm20 for a meal) they have a solid menu and a few dishes that change daily. I had the chicken and bark satay, highly recommended! View all feedback.
What Jane Ruslan doesn't like about The Lake Bistro:
After seeing great reviews online of this place and we were staying near by our group of 15 decided to visit here for some cocktails and deserts. On arrival they put two tables together for us and handed out the menus. When we went to order the cocktails we were then informed they were for in-house guests only but we could order wine instead. To our astonishment they were turning away 30 cocktails of bussiness which... View all feedback.
Beautiful location and wonderful eating I wish we had more time to eat here. we put off the brunch menu. the ice cream was really good and the presentation was very nice. the roti prata was great and again beautifully presented. the restaurant is open and sits right next to a small lagoon where you can cross the wilderness. the prices were very reasonable. that is probably the best restaurant in sepilok.
Relaxed with the sound of nature's especially birds... Staff friendly.. Price considerably moderate for tourists spot. Try the sago ice cream as dessert, small portion yet felt light and airy..

To our astonishment they were turning away 30 cocktails of bussiness which we thought was ludicrous. This was the main reason why we came here. We decided we had no choose to leave unfortunately. A member of staff informed us the main reason was they only had enough spirits for 3 single cocktails which I can't believe tbh. We won't be returning and don't recommend
Great restaurant right in front of orangutan and sunbear centres. eating is slightly high-priced, but the quality was definitely worth it. we had both the Rind-Curry and the rindburger who were great! they cost us around 70 ringgit for the meal. we even had an amazing experience when one of the orangutans came to visit and tried to steal the human food, our day made.
