We had a very warm friendly welcome from Anthony from our very first visit and always stopped to chat when passing. Genuinely nice guy. The food is cooked fresh and is amazing and so cheap. The curries are full of flavour and one of the best curries I've ever had. What User doesn't like about Star Fish Beach Shack:
This is the only beach shack close on hand for guests of The Heritgae Village Resort and as such, the shack doesn't try hard enough to please. The sunbeds are old and broken, many unable to recline. The food is good, although a little bit...pricier than other places, due to its monopoly. Close to the heritage village club hotel. Great for freshly cooked food (the huge prawns and fresh BBQ food with ice cold beer was superb). Anthony the owner was charming and was always there whether you need a beach lounger, a drink or a snack
Locally known as Antony's (the host with the most!). This is a BRILLIANT place which I would describe as a little slice of heaven. Sunsets at this wonderful venue are out of this world, as is the food, service and warmth of all the staff. Those staying at the local Heritage Village Hotel will know it well but for anyone else stopping nearby, you must give it a whirl. We only had a couple of weeks in Goa unfortunately but every night we spent at Antony's was a great delight. Can't wait to return next year. Keep up the great work Antony and team! Lovely warm welcome from Anthony, Joseph and Jack! Food was really good and drinks were refreshing. Very reasonable prices and the view was perfect!!!
Our third time in fabulous Goa. We always stay at the lovely, friendly Heritage hotel but like to take the short walk to the amazing beach and visit The Star Fish shack. Anthony, the proprietor is an eloquent gentleman and never fails to provide an amazing tasty home cooked curry or fish dish, in fact anything you care to order, together with a wide variety of beverages, and all at a most economical price.
