Glacier Maison Meire - Sanary-sur-Mer

There are two things that stand out about our cruise stop at Sanary-sur-Mer -- the large number of vendors near the marina selling just about everything imaginable and this very cool permanent ice cream shop on the street closest to the open air market. My husband and I had walked quite a bit through the market and into the village. I remembered seeing this shop's extraordinary graphics on a street sign, and it drew me back. Inside it was small and crowded with several other customers. I had a double-dip cone and it was both fresh and delicious. My husband and I walked back to the fountain where I was able to find a free spot (not part of an outdoor restaurant) where I could enjoy the treat it and people-watch on a sunny, warm day.
