I am always in a search of a good birria and I found one in Tucson that is called a quesabirria burger -it's queso(cheese),birria but as a burger and not the traditional taco. It even came with a consomme (birria broth)! They also have one of the best cornbreads I've ever had that I ordered another one to bring back to Seattle. What Kathy Ballard doesn't like about The Delta:
Honestly..we ate here when they first opened and it was excellent! We took visitors last week and we were all disappointed! EVERYTHING was way too hot..as in spicy heat! Even the hush puppies were covered in hot tartar sauce instead of being served on the side as before, and it wasn't so spicy last time. Very disappointing this time. Pluses were that they did offer gluten free options. Minuses, they were of the more already expensive cuisines. I had the jambalaya, but it was not very flavorful. This was a surprise. Also, not very filling. The drink I had was wonderful though. Not too sweet, seemed just right! And it was pretty! I go to New Orleans a few times per year to visit family and I always miss Central Market Muffulettas and a decent Sazarac when I leave. Beyond excellent service both times I’ve been to The Delta. I’ve had just about all their appetizers and they’re all so delicious. You can’t go wrong going here for happy hour. This is one of my favorite spots in town.
Fantastic place with some great sharing plates! Awesome location for drinks and tapas at night!

Their popcorn alone makes me wish I work here for a short bit just so I will learn their recipe.LOL! jk
