What Kevin doesn't like about Sauce Pizza Wine:
Just sad. We went in and ordered a sandwich and a pizza and took our number and had a seat. They brought my friends sandwich out and 15 minutes later, I still didn’t have my pizzaThey were busy which is fine but who brings food out separately? One word, Awesome! If there was one of these where I live in California, I would be here all the time! The service was great and pizza was perfect. So good!
When I’m looking for a place to go that’s fancy, but not too high class for an average Joe like me. Sauce has the perfect interior and exterior design making it a great spot to just have a conversation with someone while eating delicious food. Their food is always a delight and its flavors soar around one’s body.
We had the summer salad, pizza and wine several. I told cashier that I had never order a pizza before so how does the special work. She said any pizza including create your own and a salad so I did create your own pizza. She charged for all kinds of extras hatbwere barely on it including a charge for fresh mozzarella that wasn't even on the pizza...Seriously! Then I asked for avocado I on the salad that I expected to be charged for but they only put 4 tiny pieces on the salad and rhe bowl was not even half full....that's so bad! So honestly cashier needs to explain menu better especially when asked like I did. So the $29 special cost me over $40!! This whole thing was ridiculous! They even gave me a hard time e for sitting g at a table waiting g for my friend who got lost finding this place. Not my fault they were so busy that they didn't have enough tables. They need enclose the patio. The service rating is due to the cashier, not the young lady that kept checking on us was great. Honestly I was just VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED....SO RIDICULOUS this cost. Maybe post what is meant for the special or train cashier better!
I went in today for Pi day, and I have to say.. The service was top tier for such a busy day!! Special shoutout to José and Bailey (I'm so sorry if I spelled your names wrong!! for being so patient with a verbally aggressive customer. You two make all the difference in customer service. Anyone expecting little to no wait for a very afffordable pizza on the day of circles is absolutely bonkers. The wait was 100% worth it! Thank you everyone working today, 03/14, for your kindness.
We 've been at the Campbell avenue and Oracle road locations. I must say, excellent ! We always order the suprema pizza, and try a different salad each time. Simply great.
