What Lynn Childs doesn't like about Piazza Gavi:
We sat on the patio, and we were sweltering!!. No fans or air conditioning was on. I finally got up and turned two on . It was low noise because there weren't many patrons on the covered porch. We loved our waiter, Eric View all feedback.
Alex was wonderful tonight, first time here and we will definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing food and service! Alex is so hard working and I saw him running around attending tables all night. He was patient and kind! All the workers are kind as well! Hostess had great customer service. Thanks again!
The food is wonderful. Our server is Jacob Arman J. After he brought us all of the food we ordered, he never came back check on us. However, he charged 5 people 20% service fee. I phoned the restaurant later. I was told that they only charge 20% service charge for 6 and more people.
Well folks, I went to Piazza Gavi to eat tonight and I have some thoughts to share. Piazza Gavi translates to Wrath of Zeus in Italian, and, while wrath was not an emotion present in any way shape or form at this establishment, I nonetheless had mixed feelings leaving here. Piazza Gavi caters to a bourgeois ethic completely denuded of elitism. It is a place for those who like wine, but have no aversion to pasta. However, despite its patina of humility, this place is for those with money to spend freely. If you have very little money, you might struggle to pay the bill here. They do not sell hotdogs here, and it would be a little disorienting if they did. They do sell pizza here, and the Greek pizza that my friend ordered wasn 't half bad. I ordered the chicken formaggio which was $35. I was expecting to be blown away by the quality of such an expensive dish, but the breeze was very light. It was good, but it was like $20 good, not $35 good. I ordered tiramisu for desert which was also pretty mid. I will say that the service was stellar. They went above and beyond to accommodate my party. Our waitress not only took our orders patiently, but brought our food out to us at our table. This is what real restaurant service looks like and I wish Jersey Mike 's would take notes. At the end of the day, I wish I could give this place 2.5 stars, but you can 't do that on google maps. It wasn 't bad, but the price to quality ratio was outlandishly high. Would recommend for those who have loads of cash.
Just a little too expensive for a lunch break. Too much
