We had a phenomenal experience, thanks to our server, Ilde. He sent above Nd beyond to make sure we had a good experience and were taken care of during our visit. We ordered the fried red snapper and it was delicious! Will definitely be back whenever we are in town. View all feedback.
What Martin Mata doesn't like about Mariscos Chihuahua On Grande:
Well, for me, they don't deserve even one less star. I went to eat on Friday, April 26, 2024. The truth is, I didn't like the very bad, simple taste, it tasted too bad and then the size was too small. I remembered when I was a child that we played for lunch with my cousins. I realize that they served it in a toy cup. I would never eat there again. This is the restaurant that is on the side of the speedway. View all feedback.
It took approximately 35 minutes for the waitresses to serve me, the food is good but the service was terrible.

We found this restaurant on Google Maps. Absolutely one unique outstanding place to have Mexican flavor seafood. It's not your typical Mexican restaurant menu, but something so much more delightful. This is a hidden gem in the Tucson area. Five star quality!!
We saw that this restaurant had very good reviews, so we gave it a visit this evening. Our first impression, the dining room is fairly small, but it seemed full of local people, not tourists like us !Our server immediately made us feel welcome, allowed us to choose our table, and promptly provided complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered the calamari empanizado and the filete culichi. The breading on the calamari wasn’t quite as we expected (hence 4 stars) but the fish culichi was excellent. However, the highlight of our evening was our server Mina, who was terrific. She waited on tables, took customer payments, brushed the floors, assisted an elderly couple to their table, and still had time to chat with us without being intrusive, the only task she didn’t seem to be doing was actually cooking our food ! We highly recommend trying Mariscos Chihuahua, for the food, for the atmosphere, and for the best server we’ve met in Tucson, thanks Mina.
Our first time here. We have eaten at over 30 of Tucson’s “best” Mexican restaurants, and this one now rates in our top five! I had the fillets with garlic and my wife had the chipotle camerones.
