On the outskirts of the upper old town San Vito Chietino, this restaurant is nice from the outside and large on the inside but seemed pretty quiet the evening I dined there. Perhaps it was because I entered at 730 pm and no one seems to go anywhere before 8 in Italy. Host sat us at our table promptly although all the lights I the restaurant were off and no one else was there and did not arrive until after 8. No one even came to table to offer a drink until 8 pm. Food was good. Not the best food I had in Italy but not horrible either. A good selection of pizza which I wish I would have ordered over he gnocchi which seemed too doughy for my taste. Have had better in the U.S. Where the chefs seem to fold in ricotta cheese to make a light and not too dense pasta. But overall the restaurant was good. Service was fine and prices reasonable.
Un bel ristorante dove ho mangiato molto bene, il personale è cordiale e gentile.
Da tre anni, mangio in questo ristorante ogni sera e mi sento obbligato a ringraziare i proprietari per la loro cordialità e il personale per la gentilezza. Baci.
Family owned and very charming restaurant with great food and wine! I return every year and although I always intend to order something different to try I always end up ordering their flatbread pizza! Gorgeous… Thin crust... Fresh ingredients… Perfect! And the house wine works to remind you that you are IN Italia!
