Meson Madrid Bar Restaurante

We ate here with another couple and although the food and service was acceptable, it was not as good as other menu del dia’s we tried in northern Spain. the service was somewhat slow and the quality of the dishes was not fantastic. We...had a lot of dressed and the best was the "mountain stew". the sardines were also delicious.

I see that the restorative has many bad reviews, but I trust my taste buds and there are some dishes that definitely try. da san vicente de la barquera is a coastal town, we chose the seafood: sopa de marisco (Seafoodsuppe),...gulas con gambas and zamburinas (scallops). it turned out to be a good choice. Babyaale with garnels were delicious and simply no. scallops had a great taste of the sea. seafood soup was also good with some pieces of fish, mushes etc. the service was a little slow. in general the ambiente was like that. the price was right for quality. verdejo wein not so special.

Went to the Meson Madrid Bar in San Vicente recently for dinner. Really good fish had sardines and sea bass. No English spoken, no English menu. I like it that way but just be prepared before you go. Waiter gave us a strong liquer...on the house to send us on our way well sated and happy.

Cada vez que visito SVB, suelo comer en este lugar Meson Madrid , la comida casera es buena, los postres muy buenos y siempre soy muy bien atendida, el precio es justo y el ambiente acogedor.

Lugar normalito, comimos bien y barato. Personal muy agradable.
