Pizza Romano - San Tan Valley

Ordered “well done” boneless wings, and they were RAW. Literally made us throw up and lost our appetite. This is unsafe!*48 hours later, after calling and speaking to the manager who told me to email their boss for a refund.... still no refund or response!After sending raw chicken to someone 's home, you should at least not be too busy to send a refund.

The honey bbq wing we ordered were delicious. The pizza was so so, the sauce had an aftertaste and the crust tasted like it was from a frozen pizza. I'd go back just for the honey bbq wings though

Service is terrible. 1st time we ordered for delivery we never got our pizza. Called 1.5 hours later and they said they didn’t have drivers. Don’t offer delivery if you don’t have drivers. Then the second time after an hour wait we got someone else’s order. I took it to the right house and called to see where our order was and was told they were too busy and they would have to figure it out later mind you it’s already been over an hour. They then said they could remake the order but it would be another hour and I would have to pick it up as they didn’t have drivers again. They wouldn’t cut us any break for their mistake. If you get pizza here you have about a 10% chance of getting your food. We’re hoping to get our money back. We ended up going else where for pizza

My husband and I went in this afternoon, to get the lunch special. $6 pizza and a drink, and $12 pizza wings and a drink. The lady helping us, who we later found out was the manager, didn 't know what the $12 special was. So a whole lot of confusion ordering, then we finally said just the pizza wings and a drink combo for my husband. She asked what kind of pizza and he said pepperoni. Out comes our pizzas, mine was Hawaiian and his was just cheese. So I let the other lady working know we asked for pepperoni. She took it back, put pepperoni on the SAME slice of pizza and put it through the warmer again. The cheese slice already had over cooked cheese on it and now it just looked gross with pepperonis that would fall of. My husband went back up and the lady said oh you wanted a new slice? Yes. What the heck do you think we wanted? A burnt cheese pizza with warmed up pepperonis on it? So she took it back and out came the next slice which looked just as over cooked as the last with cheese sprinkled on top and put back through the warmer. That 's when we asked for the manager and it was the lady who took our order who didn 't know what the $12 lunch combo was. So overly saddened and appalled by this. We use to love this place. It is very clear those 2 girls working need some more training, especially the so called manager. Sad to say we will never be going back.

I was amazed on how Christina M. Made a huge difference, She reached out after our meal and service was horrible. She not only correct the issues but mended the way we think about Pizza Romano. She gave us credit to give them a second chance and promised that our bad experience will never happen again. We obliged and gave them a second chance which was a great and Outstanding experience. The pizzas that we got after that were so amazing and literally made to what is close to perfection. Thank you and you gained a new costumer back. We will be back.
