The restaurant is a little off t... read more Lola, you really outdid yourself yesterday. My best friend and I met for lunch at Lola Empanada and we were amazed by the food. The restaurant is a little off the beaten path, just a few minutes from Johnson Ranch in the heart of San Tan Valley. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a lively Latin playlist playing in the background. We tried a variety of empanadas and were so impressed that we ended up taking a dozen home for dinner. Our favorite was the Chicken Green Chili, which was absolutely delicious. It had a fantastic flavor without being too spicy. The spinach, artichoke, and chicken option was also amazing and a close second favorite. After a couple of glasses of wine and a relaxing meal, we unfortunately had no room left for the Blueberry dessert empanada with homemade cream cheese frosting. But there's always next time! I highly recommend this place and I am a huge fan. Thank you Lola!

All of them were del... read more We tried empanadas with grilled chicken, spinach, artichoke, chicken and pineapple, spiced beef and chilies, and spinach, tomato, and feta. All of them were delicious. We also took home a variety of dessert options. The menu changes frequently, but the rice and beans were especially tasty. The empanada crust was flaky and not too thick or doughy. Everything was hot and fresh, all made by Lola and her family. They take orders and serve food themselves. The hand-made margaritas were also very tasty.

We tried green chili chicken, beef bean cheese, jalapeño popper and spicy pork. For dessert we had the Nutella and raspberry. Empañadas were so delicious we will definitely be going back.

The restaurant is located just a few minutes away from Johnson Ranch in the heart of San Tan Valley. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a Latin-themed menu that is both interesting and fun. We tried a variety of empanadas and were so impressed that we ended up taking some home for dinner. Our favorite was the chicken green chili empanada, which had a fantastic taste without being too spicy. The spinach, artichoke, and chicken option was also delicious and came in a close second. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine and had a relaxing lunch, but unfortunately, we were too full to try the blueberry dessert empanada with homemade cream cheese frosting. We will definitely have to save room for it next time. I highly recommend Lola Empanada - I am a big fan!
