They offer the option to replace meat and cheese with tofu and/or fajita vegetables in any dish. All of their sauces are vegetarian, including a fantastic mole! I especially love the tofu enchilada with mole sauce and the tofu fajitas. The restaurant features a full bar and a beautiful patio with an ocean view. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant anywhere! We got 2 tofu fajitas and the waiter asked us if we wanted rice without telling us that it was going to cost an additional 12$. Not very cool
Vegan options in San Simeon. Make sure you specify vegan as your Quac has acid cream. I have the taco salad with tofu had a good amount of tofu. I wish it had more beans. Beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea updated by previous review on 2021-05-13
They replace tofu- and/or Fajita-Veggies for meat and/or cheese in any dish. All her sauces are meatless, including an AMAZING mole! I especially enjoy the Tofu Enchilada with muzzle and the Tofu Fajitas. You have a full bar and a beautiful view of the sea. My favorite Mexican restaurant everywhere!!
The restaurant offers a few vegan choices along with a variety of vegetarian options. Their salsa roja is absolutely fantastic! I also appreciated the note on the menu indicating that all sauces are meat-free, which is a question I often dread asking. I tried a cheese enchilada and a chile relleno, and I genuinely enjoyed both, even as a self-proclaimed food snob from San Francisco. On the day I visited, they had a dessert special—homemade lemon ice cream with raspberries. Unfortunately, it wasn't vegan, but it was really delicious.
The restaurant offers a few vegan options along with many vegetarian choices. The salsa roja is exceptional!
