Considering this had a Michelin recommend in 2014 something has gone seriously wrong here. Menu is very basic and limited, service is slow and unprofessional, and as for the quality of the food, well given San Sebastián has over 40 Michelin starred establishments, this one is a no go. Senyoret rice wasn't bad if you're a peanut that comes on vacation and you're out of money. the very nice views, the rice with ajoaceite better.
Comimos muy bien, muy tranquilos, el tratamiento del muy atento y amable camarero y la muy buena comida. muy recomendable la hamburguesa.
The most arrogant waitstaff i’ve ever experienced. Hair in my food and barely an apology. We watched them mock and laugh at other patrons as they walked in. Food is not that great for the price. Breakfast is mediocre for the price. Asked for a box for our child’s unfinished food and told no. Terrible experience, annoying, condescending and overpriced. Never again!!! Ruined my perspective on an otherwise beautiful hotel.
The restaurant here is part of the hotel Barcelo and is absolutely above average. Excellent choice and really high quality ingredients. Highly recommended
The cooking is still good, but the menu is now touristy, with dishes such as cheesy nachos instead of proper Spanish first courses. There are no vegetables available, but if you ask when you book, they can be offered. The dinner has a meat of the day/fish of the day which are good, but again without vegetables. Some of the reviews here relate to the Mirador de Ulia restaurant, rather than to the Ulia restaurant in the Barceló Costa Vasca hotel.
