Avenida Xxi - San Sebastian

It was some years ago since I last ate at Avenida XXI and it hasn't improved. I was in the neighborhood and thought that lasagne is a simple dish. I was going to run a race the day after and needed the carbohydrates. The lasagne did not taste much and the meat was very lumpy. It also looked bad. I finished the lunch with flan. That did not taste good either. And it had a skin on the surface. I must remember to avoid this place from now on.

We ate here twice once we had a burger and sandwich due to all the kitchens in town being closed. The food was good and inexpensive and the staff great! Second time we had lunch and the food was simple, but tasty. Again the service was excellent and food inexpensive. Staff spoke very good English and were overall very helpful. There is an air conditioned room outside on the street which is comfortable. The coffee (Nespresso) is also very good.

Agradable y mítica Cafetería que los Donostiarras de siempre llaman Dover por su Antiguo nombre.Aunque la han renovado varias veces,mantiene su esencia. Personal muy amable que atiende las mesas.Pequeña selección de buenos Pintxos.Destacan el de Ensaladilla Rusa y el Mini bocadillo de tortilla de jamón.Bueno el Pintxo de Tortilla de patatas.Buena repostería en las que brillan las Tortitas con Nata desde hace cinco décadas.Agradable terraza cubierta en plena Avenida en la que ver transcurrir la vida Donostiarra.Público local.
