Social Affair - San Ramon

Came to this place for a drink and a snack. But I stayed for more. You have a good selection of drinks, wines and beer. I like beer and they had beer I had never seen before. If you don't see what you want, probably the bartender will be able to make you something special. They have several different plates that can be divided. I started with the green with peaches, it tasted as good as it looked. I followed that with smoked salmon on Naanbrot. The salmon was very fresh and tasty.

My new favorite place in the city centre. Super cooled and covered. The wine selection is incredible and the food is amazing. Very recommended for an appointment evening.

Not impressed by the wine selection... hoped for more local wines as they have access to some of the best wineries in California/USA (Napa, Sonoma, Livermore, Amador Valley etc.)! Sausages and cheese plates are a little steep considering that they use local manufacturers! Rainer, our host/server, was SUPERB and very hospitable! Hopefully, their wine list will be a significant advance!

A great place for an AweSome Happy Hour. Great ambience, drinks and great chocolate. So we're talking chocolate, they've got some of your fave drink with some chocolate. Must taste the passion fruit chocolate!!! This is definitely a place to have a social matter.

I am making this my Go To Wine Bar for the rest of eternity. The service is impeccable; personal and friendly. The food menu is limited but the items we try are always delicious and there is plenty of wine. It's located on the second floor of a very kid friendly mall which means it's close enough to activity but far enough to not be noisy. The Lot cinema is right next door and their lounge is gigantic and the decor is that of a contemporary hotel lobby so the view from Social Affair is quite pretty.
