Their menu has become way overpriced. The food can be great and then not so great--really hit and miss. Example ordered their BBQ chicken special for Memorial Day. $43 for a medium chicken! I went for it cause the advertising said the whole marinate process, etc and when they are on the mark--really good. However, chicken is no better than a $10 Costco chicken. This is a small company that cares. Enjoy your night off from cooking and order from J&L. Did I mention there is no auto subscription so you can order what you want when you want. Five Stars for sure.
I aske they deliver my food early on Thursday so I can leave for my other my other home. They do that and the food is consistently wonderful.
We've tried a variety of meal kits, take-out options and Jessie and Laurent is the one that has stuck. First off, the meals are delicious. We have been ordering weekly for months and honestly only been disappointed by maybe 1-2 meals total. Secondly, it is so easy. With two full-time jobs and two young kids, we really appreciate the ease of these meals (just put in oven for 20 minutes). Yes, the price is high, but TBH with prices of groceries these days, we have not seen our monthly food costs go up. We consistently order 3-4 meals/weekly and don't anticipate quitting!
After many months of scouring google for food delivery services, I stumbled upon Jessie and Laurent. All of their cuisine is delicious, and I am very appreciative of their entire team responsible for these exquisite meals. It's very clear the pride and care taken.
