Il Capitano - SAN PIERO PATTI

We spent 4 days here just after Easter and thoroughly enjoyed we were very sad to leave! The welcome was warm and genuine from the owner, Giuseppe, and the food was plentiful and delicious, prepared by the always smiling Katia. All the food is locally farm produced, which you can tell from the flavours we put on several kilos! The water is from a natural spring, and the wine was unpretentious but good. There is a very small winding road up to the farm, and there is a need to drive slowly and carefully (we did it in a rental Ford Fiesta no problem). Accommodation was very clean, comfortable, quiet, warm and cosy all finished to a high standard. We found the price very good value. Other highlights were the heated swimming pool and sauna (we swam twice a day before breakfast and dinner), the beautiful surrounding countryside and walks, the scenic views, and the wonderful company of Giuseppe. We recommend very highly, we look forward already to our next visit!

I became difficult to describe this farm and the people who created it and run it. I could write great in everything, but it wouldn't be enough. I've been seeing it for about seven or eight years, usually for Christmas and summer, and I always find the quality, the seriousness of management and the extraordinary availability to others. all in the name of pandemic security. Unfortunately the limit of the number of usable characters does not give me any more to write. you will not be

I begin immediately with the only negative note, the last km and a half road is dirt. a really quiet, nice, familiar and friendly place. employees welcomed us warmly and the owner is a person of the past. the genuine food so much that my children ate everything. I also bought some local hazelnuts: Good. definitely not suitable for those who do not love animals, among dogs, cats, goats and horses there is everything! pure air, good food and friendliness, winning recipe!

I spent four days in this place and i must say i loved every minute of it. The place is in the middle of a mountain. The views are breathtaking and the food is impeccable. They only have 5 rooms so it is really peaceful. They also have a large indoor pool. It is an excellent place for children since they can safely run around and meet different farm animals. The staff are truly amazing people. There are no air conditioners in the rooms but i went in July and it was nice and cool at night. I would suggest going with a four wheeler since to reach the place one has to drive up a steep mountain and also do some off road driving. I also suggest taking anti- sickness pills since there are a lot of sharp and curvy turns lol.
