Isolina Costa Rica - San Pedro

We are foodies and seek out the best restaurants wherever we go. Isolina is one of the top 3 restaurants we have been to in San José. Dani is an excellent bar tender and Mizael took great care of us.

Innovative and delicious food that was beautifully presented. The service was superb. The wine list was excellent and reasonable

We had a good dinner at Isolina but were disappointed to learn that a couple of dishes listed on the menu (both the veal and the pork dishes) were not available. The restaurant offered the dishes but with beef which didn't seem to work as well with the sauces. The four of us all opted for the same seabass dish which was excellent. I would still recommend dining at Isolina but would not count on reliability and consistency in the menu. We enjoyed the lively scene in the Barrio Escalante area where isolina and many other restaurants are located.

Beautiful ambiance and top notch service made this dinner a memorable one. Our server was exactly attentive enough without coming too often. The food was beautiful, especially the sea bass appetizer and the pork belly entree. The mocktails were delicious and beautiful!

Food, wine and the overall experience was great. The staff was very professional and answered all the questions we had about the menu. The food was very tasty, better than what we expected. The wine list has interesting options by glass and by bottle.
