Very friendly and welcoming. At least English and Spanish spoken Great food at reasonable prices. Best bergers in Melaque! Trips originate here to nice Beaches. Groups welcome and Bridge played! Nice! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Esmeraldas:
We have been here several several times this year. First dinner was very good. Second dinner was not good and the service was slow by Mexican standards. We then were invited to go to breakfast with some locals who knew the owner/ chief. They were more disappointed more than we were. We have other alternatives and won't be back unless something changes. View all feedback.
Wonderful, very friendly English speaking staff. Very good service. Food was awesome, and onion rings better than any I've ever had : (not like I eat lots of them but they were recommended by someone . Great prices. If I ever go back to Melaque I will for sure visit Esmeraldas!
Amazing atmosphere and the food is sooo good. The service is fast friendly, real pros. Very cool and open, good ventilation. Highly recommended.
The wait staff and cook were very accommodating. I was there at 2 pm, they stopped serving breakfast at 12:30, but they let me order an everything omelet. It was huge with home fries and two half pancakes. The omelet had tons of stuff in it, but was not fluffy at all. And not as tasty as you might suppose given the ingredients. It needed catsup. The home fries were good, but the pancakes were thin and dry. An ok but slightly disappointing meal.
We had heard good things about this restaurant last year so we decided to try for dinner. Cannot recommend however! Cesar salad was chopped lettuce, tomatoes and a bottle of dressing. Spaghetti special was more like spaghetti soup with shrimp on top! Perhaps breakfast is their better meal!
My husband had the best omelette he's ever had here. Be warned though, it's huuuuuge! Should be shared. Great service, great food.
