I started with the Mozzarella Caprese and it was delicious. Followed by the Minestrone, just a cup, also wonderful. And for my head I had the beef ravioli, it is served with sausage in an aurora sauce, it was fabulous. The coffee was also quite good, it needed NO sweetness and NO cream to cut any bitterness. And of course, because what is good is a meal without dessert, I had the Tiramisu. It was excellent View all feedback.
Updating from 01/30/22 Still a current Fave in our rotation of the most visited restaurants. This is a place that goes beyond and beyond the quality of food and service. Very much love that they need an vaccination certificate. My Fave is her Auberginenparmigiana. We tried almost every menu and it's never a disappointment. Another fabulous place we visited for over 15 years. Currently they offer Dine in and outdoor dining and their bar is open. Same good food. Never a disappointment in her food. Always consistent with what a domestic feeling brings. Love her bread with the olive oil Balsamico. I usually go for their specials or linguini con gamberetti. I also recommend the Ravioli, Calamari, Lasagne, really everything. Dessert their tiramisu and cream brulee are our faves. Become here for celebrations with a party 40 during the Pre-Covid periods. In preparation they offer you a menu that they produce a personal menu for the guests.

I must be my favorite spot in the bay to get great cheap Italian cuisine. The whole place is the same since I was a child and now my children love it! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Friendly, quick and attentive service for Single Diner. On keto diet and adjusted accordingly, chop salad, vegetables and lamb. Fun that the cuts were a bit thicker, but still good lakes and grill marks. Beautiful house wine, but wanted to pour for a little more healthy. The decor is dated but gives the old world charm. San Pablo is a bit down, but LA Strada is a beautiful jem for the area.
We were seated immediately, dishes came quickly (pesto gnocchi, scallop salad, lasagna, and eggplant parmesan). Did have to ask for the wine list, but I did like the Pinot Grigio I ordered. The complimentary freshly grated parmesan was good. Waiter kindly took a photo of us.
