Cantini - SAN MINIATO

The overall experience is not what you would expect from a tuscan one. We had a cheese crostini atipasto, but the quality was really low compared to other places where we tried it around Tuscany. Same with the beef fillet dish. The terrace view is nice instead I would recommend the place only for having a drink, not for lunch/dinner.

Nice and family run. We got a table with a view. Best of all were the cantucci, kind of soft, and so delicious. We bought extras to take with us and gobbled them up. Have tried to re-create them at home, but can’t get the texture right. Please share your recipe!

This little place is awesome!!! simple, small but with a killer view and great atmosphere. The food was great, so were the prices. Marlene made us feel so welcome every time...it was like visiting relatives. it was exactly what I wanted for our vacation. we went back almost every evening.

Truffle pasta was great, but white wine was warm which was a big minus. The table cloths are very cheap looking as it’s made out of paper or plastic and takes away the feeling of quality. Most importantly food was good but I have to say it was a huge disappointment that white wine was warm and for that reason I would skip the wine.

Good pasta, very nice service, generous portions. We had a great dinner.
