Gina's Grill - San Miguel de Cozumel

Came across this charming venue by chance while celebrating a dual birthday. Very friendly vibes and fresh tasty food served. The staff and owners truly went above and beyond to show us s great time in their city, very much appreciated!

We went to Gina's because we heard the fish was excellent. My husband had the whole fish, and it was wonderful. And I had Langosta de la Casa (Lobster of the House) that was great. There were little lobsters cooked in butter, served with the shells and rice and vegetables. I haven't seen such a good price for lobster on the island in many, many years! Because they were tiny, they were really tasty! The margaritas were super and the sauce for the chips!!!! I fell in love with a ranchero sauce at another restaurant years ago. They stopped serving it, but I've found it again at Gina's. I don't like hot sauces...this little red sauce is mild and very, very tasty. But best of all was the service. Gina personally waiting on the tables and engaged everyone in feeling very welcome. I love it when an owner makes the guests feel at home and appreciated.

Wonderfully fresh food and very tasty at reasonable prices.
